Don’t like dogs?

Inexplicable though it may seem to us dog lovers: some people don’t like dogs!

Many people are scared of dogs. They may have been bitten in the past, they have never been exposed to dogs, or they simply think dogs are dangerous. It may be a cultural thing.  Here is a nice little video from Michelle Bartsch from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home demonstrating how to act when approached by a dog.

Whatever the reason, some people don’t want to meet your dog, no matter how friendly he is. What can you do?

Likewise, some dogs don’t want to meet you! Not even if you say they are a ‘dog-lover’! ‘

Stop caring what others think, and stand up for your dog’, says Jessica Dolce in her Notes from a Dog Walker.

Here is one such case – one of many dogs I have been to that have felt driven to snap due to unwanted attention.
